A Tax-Smart Way to Help Modcon Living
Are you 70.5 or older? Use your IRA to Make a gift
You can make a tax-free contribution to Modcon Living from your traditional IRA if you are age 70.5 or older.
The IRA Charitable Rollover (or qualified charitable distribution, QCD) allows you to make a charitable gift directly from your IRA, counting towards your required minimum distribution (RMD), but not part of your adjusted gross income (AGI).
For a complete list of qualifications and to benefit from the IRA contribution, contact your accountant and/or IRA plan administrator. We are happy to provide you with a sample transfer request letter as well!
