A Tool Library Membership for Every Need

Why Buy Tools When You Can Rent Them Instead?

The Tool Library has more than 4,800 tools available for loan. It is open Monday through Thursday in the winter, and memberships usually cost less than what you’d pay for only a few tools.

Individual memberships start at $50 per year, and only $25 for students, seniors, and Veterans.

Or, choose a 30-day Special Project membership for just $15.

If you own multiple properties, your individual membership starts at $50 per year for the first property, and only $25 per year for each additional property.

We even offer special membership options for renters, nonprofits, teachers, community gardens, and small urban farms.

Whether you’re an individual homeowner or a large nonprofit, there’s a membership for you.

Modcon Living will host a grand reopening of the Tool Library on Monday, May 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Join us to return tools, check out new tools, and purchase previously donated tools at our Yard Sale.

The Tool Library has become an essential resource to communities throughout Franklin County. We apologize for any inconvenience the temporary closure has caused and are committed to doing all we can to maintain this important program.

Current Tool Library members will receive a 90-day extension and new members will be activated by May 20.

Tool Library hours have been expanded to better serve the community.

We extend our sincere thanks to our members, the community, our sponsors, staff, and board for their ongoing commitment, patience, and understanding during our temporary closure.
